Claire Foy shines in this eerie horror film.
A young woman is involuntarily committed to a mental institution, where she is confronted by her greatest fear--but is it real or a product of her delusion?
Steven Soderbergh shot this film entirely on iPhone 7s and why I can’t work out the reasoning it doesn’t actually look that bad. There’s a “film-esq” quality to the cinematography, though the framing is slightly smaller. The script is incredible, filled with twisted characters and excellent plot twists. Claire Foy does an incredible job and Joshua Leonard is haunting.
Overall one not miss.
