Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri - 5 Stars

An incredible cinematic treat!

A mother personally challenges the local authorities to solve her daughter's murder when they fail to catch the culprit.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri is my second favourite film of the year. Martin McDonagh has constructed brilliant characters that bring to life a beautifully tragic, yet somehow hysterical story which has you laughing and crying simultaneously. Francis McDormand offers her best performance in years, while Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson and Peter Dinklage also astound in supporting roles.

Overall a cinematic masterpiece and a lesson in the art of black comedy.
