The Only Living Boy in New York - 0 Stars

The only “living” boy in New York made me lose to will to live.

Adrift in New York City, a recent college graduate's life is upended by his father's mistress.

It’s rare to see a movie this bad, Amazon Studios offers one of the worst films this year. The script is terrible, with a plot twist that was unpredictable, but also wildly out of place in this movie. The characters were weak and hollow, they had to regard for consequences and were in general horrible people. The terrible characters were so un-relatable that you disconnect instantly. The length of the film (at 90m) is still too long for the amount of story and the whole thing is terribly boring.

The cast is also weak, but that may be the material. Jeff Bridges is the best, but still this doesn’t measure up to his normal calibre of performance.

Overall steer very clear!
