The greatest Batman film ever made!
A cooler-than-ever Bruce Wayne must deal with the usual suspects as they plan to rule Gotham City, while discovering that he has accidentally adopted a teenage orphan who wishes to become his sidekick.
After a 2-month delay in releasing into Australian cinemas The Lego Batman Movie has finally arrived and it was worth the wait. The script is so cleverly written, it masterfully mocks previous Batman movies (and DC in general), while still paying tribute to actors like Adam West. The jokes are witty and intelligent, something often lacking in film’s targeted at a younger audience.
Will Arnett and Michael Cera are incredible voice actors, both bring something incredible to the roles of Batman and Robin. Rosario Dawson and Raph Finnes also shine as Batgirl and Alfred. The CGI is incredible, the filmmakers have cleverly created the film to look like stop motion, adding to the “Lego” effect.
Overall a hysterical film that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike, and personally my favourite Batman film!
