Bastille Day - 2.5 Stars

Fun action movie, has weak accents from its British cast and borrows plot from various other action films.

A young con artist and former CIA agent embark on an anti-terrorist mission in France.

Idris Elba and Richard Madden are two extraordinary British actors, neither of whom can convincingly do an American accent. Their accents waiver noticeably throughout the film. The plot is heavily borrowed from films such as Die Hard 3, which makes the ending predictable - but no less enjoyable.

Overall, a fun way to spend 100 minutes, yet nothing intelligent to enjoy here.
