Tully - 4.5 Stars

Jason Reitman’s latest film delights and is anchored masterfully by two exquisite performances from Charlize Theron and Mackenzie Davis.

A mother of three hires a night nanny to help with her newborn.

Diablo Cody has written an incredible script, which will not only delight with its lovely humour, but leave you feeling a little emptier as you watch these characters grow, develop and suffer. The direction from Jason Reitman is amazing, but it’s the performances that really stand out as exceptional. Charlize Theron has always been a chameleon, but this is her best performance yet. Mackenzie Davis is deftly able to match her and Ron Livingston is a nice foil.

Overall an incredible ride with a terrific ensemble both in front of and behind the camera.
